Olde Naples is the downtown section of the City of Naples. It is a residential area between Naples white sand beaches and the Naples Bay. The Olde Naples neighborhood oozes with charm and few visit the Olde Naples area that are not blown over by how beautiful it is.
While the Olde Naples area is mostly residential, it is also the downtown of the Naples area, where the City Hall is located, along with shopping and dining districts. There are always numerous small town activities and event to choose from at anytime of year in there. Olde Naples is a major destination spot for residents in the area. If it feels good to visit Olde Naples, image how good the residents that live there feel.

Olde Naples, take up just two square miles, but it has virtually any style of housing imaginable. Ranging from 400 sq. ft. one bedroom condos, to grand estate homes on the beach, to very small wood frame homes built in the 1930s. There is nearly triple the number of condo homes than single family homes in Olde Naples. But single family homes take up triple the land area.
Olde Naples Home Values
Olde Naples has some of the most expensive housing in the Naples area. Home values have been on the rise in the recent years.
Village Green is the largest subdivision within Olde Naples, and is being shown separately in the chart above.
Olde Naples Shopping/Entertainment Districts
Naples Fifth Avenue South District
Fifth Avenue South is main streets of downtown Naples (See Map). The area offers a range of daytime and nighttime activities. In addition to the many excellent restaurants and pubs. Fifth Avenue has many shops, art galleries, live entertainment and hotels. Fifth Avenue comes alive at night with various activities. Many of the restaurants in the area offer outdoor seating, complete with people watching opportunities.
One of the very popular reoccurring events on Fifth Avenue is the "Evening on Fifth." Evening on 5th features an array of live musical performances throughout the sidewalk areas of 5th Avenue South.
Cambier Park, next to 5th Avenue also has many activities and has an outdoor bandshell with events several times a week - jazz, big band, Dixieland, etc. There is a church service held every Sunday morning at the bandshell.
Third Street South District
The Third Street South is in the heart of Olde Naples. It was the site of the original Naples settlement and just blocks to both the Naples Beach and the Naples Bay.
The Third Street area also has many shops, art galleries, boutiques, restaurants and pubs. Plus, just three blocks from the Naples pier.
You get to the Third Street South area by heading west on Fifth Avenue South, then left at Third Street for one mile.
City DocK Area
Naples City DocK area borders the Naples Bay. Why not as many shops and restaurant selects as Fifth Ave and Third Street, it still is worth a visit for fine dining or dining on the Naples Bay.
